Danica and Dave’s Memorable Hawaii Big Island Wedding was a blast. And Honestly?! A dream come true for everyone involved. From the get-go, you could tell there was so much intention and thought that went into the planning.

I will forever be grateful that they allowed me to be a part of their special day.

With her Dad living on the Big Island, Danica spent much of her childhood exploring the Island.  It became a home away from home for her.  She knew it would be the perfect place for her and Dave to tie the knot.

HAWAII BIG ISLAND WEDDING LOCATION

Danica and Dave’s wedding took place at the Hokukano Bay House. This venue is located only ten minutes south of downtown Kona.

If you have never seen (or heard of) the Hokukano Bay House know that it is simply stunning. The industrial-sized kitchen, large indoor/outdoor master suite, pool, and large yard make it perfect for small or large wedding events.

There were so much intentionality and lovely little touches throughout their wedding. Like the classic-looking telephone where guests could leave messages for the bride and groom and later press the audio into vinyl for Dave and Danica to listen to for years to come!

If that doesn’t SCREAM memorable, let me convince you a little more…

Halfway through the toasts, what started as a slight drizzle turned into a torrential downpour.  Guests and vendors were quick on their feet to move the entire reception indoors! However, this didn’t stop everyone from still having an amazing time!  Plus, the rain stopped long enough for some sweet sunset shots of Dave and Danica.
