When it comes to elopements, they are not one-size-fits-all. There are no rules, no strict guidelines to abide by. Truly you can create a wedding day just as you imagined! For Lauren and Will, they knew early on in their wedding planning that they wanted to have a Hawaii Elopement. After discussing their vision and what they wanted, an adventure elopement in Waipio Valley seemed like the perfect fit! But with some close family and friends joining for the ceremony, it wouldn’t be possible for all of them to take the gruesome trek down into the valley. So Lauren improvised. She found a stunning Airbnb in the town of Volcano as the location for an early morning ceremony. This left us with plenty of time to take the drive over the valley and even stop for some fresh coconuts on the way!
Once we finished exploring the valley, the three of us drove to the Fairmont Orchid in Waikoloa for their intimate beachside wedding reception dinner. Will and Lauren added so many unique touches to their day. Lauren and her best friend stayed at the Air BnB the night before the wedding. Lauren wanted a Hawaii elopement with a unique landscape. So their ceremony at a cabin in the woods was the perfect spot!
